I’m Kristen, aka The Running Mom. I’m married to the most amazing and supportive man who happens to be my high school sweetheart. I’m a mom to two sweet little boys. I created this blog/site so help other moms (and dads!) who are running with their little ones. It can be hard to find the answers to your questions about running with your baby so I hope my website can help other running parents find their way.
I’m not the best or fastest runner out there; I just love to run. I love it even more when I have the company of my sweet boy Zain (well, except for that added resistance!). I have run 4 half marathons, 3 marathons and a handful of other race distances.
I have a million reasons why I run which are always changing and evolving. I love to do crazy things like run 20 miles pushing my son in the jogging stroller. I also love to do normal things like cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with my little family. I am a vegetarian and a big believer in clean eating. I have a sight obsession with Europe, specifically France and more specifically Paris. I’m still hanging onto hope I can convince my hubby to move there.
I’m currently a stay at home mom to my little Prince Zain. I have my B.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Cross-Cultural Communication and a minor in French. I have my M.A. in International Communication with a concentration in Intercultural Communication. Before becoming a mama, I worked for a large international organization followed by a non-profit organization where I was a teacher. One day, I hope to get back to working in my field.
