I’m not the best or fastest runner out there; I just love to run. I love it even more when I have the company of my sweet boys (well, except for that added resistance!). I have run 5 half marathons, 3 marathons and a handful of other race distances.
I have a million reasons why I run which are always changing and evolving. I love to do crazy things like run 20 miles pushing my son in the jogging stroller. I also love to do normal things like cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with my little family. I am a vegetarian and a big believer in clean eating. I have a sight obsession with Europe, specifically France and more specifically Paris. I’m still hanging onto hope I can convince my hubby to move there.
I’m currently a stay at home mom to my little princes Zain and Ezra. I have both my B.A. and M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Cross-Cultural Communication and French. Before becoming a mama, I worked for a large international organization followed by a non-profit organization where I was a teacher. I am currently studying to become a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In January 2014, I will begin a Master’s of Science program in Nutrition and Integrative Health at the Maryland University for Integrative Health so that I can become a nutritionist.
